AnonymousSo I'm going to the Spain/US game too and I was just wondering, do you think Spain will use players like Villa, Iniesta, and Xavi (basically a competition team) or stick with the likes of Silva and Navas because it's just a friendly? Not that I don't think they're all great players, but I really want to see Villa. Don't judge me. :P In fact, I'm going to be an anon for this.
Haha, no judging! I know for a fact I’ll be looking out for some key players too. I think they will probably put up a squad that will include your favorites. By June, the season in England and Spain is over, so there’s no need to rest players via coaches’ orders. Additionally, the last time USA and Spain met (Confederation Cup 2009), USA pulled a huge upset and won 2-0. I think the Spanish NT will be looking for a little revenge (; No matter what, the game is bound to be super exciting and I can’t wait!
